The program Zulu DJ allows new-age startup disk jockeys to mix, mingle and mash-up music using a basic PC. Created by NCH Software, Zulu DJ does things differently by providing a music app for would-be DJs. This means that the program itself was designed specifically for individuals who want to add musical effects, mixes, fades, mash-ups, and other techniques that basic programs do not offer.
The easy-to-use interface has two separate decks on either side of the screen with a panel for your specific playlist at the bottom. To use the program, you simply drag the audio you want to listen to into your list, and from there you can drag various tracks into either deck or both decks. This is where the magic starts to happen for DJs. You can mix, blur, fade, mash, and more.
