Far Cry New Dawn is a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Set seventeen years after the events of Far Cry 5, the game returns to Hope County, Montana, where society has been transformed following a global nuclear catastrophe.
Players take on the role of a survivor who works with resistance groups to fight the Highwaymen, a group led by twin leaders Mickey and Lou. The game introduces base-building, weapon crafting, expeditions, and RPG-inspired weapon levels while retaining the open-world exploration and combat associated with the Far Cry series.
